Our inspector Tom Gresham has more than 17 years of experience as a home inspector and holds the designation of “Registered Home Inspector” with the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors. At present he has completed more than 7000+ inspections locally.
As an efficient owner based company incorporated in 2008, Safe and Sound has the advantage of providing personalized service at competitive rates with the benefit of education, experience, and dedication. We provide a detailed, but easy to follow inspection report. Our reports are delivered in both a modern web based, and a PDF format. The reports are typically 50 to 80 pages in length and include numerous photos. We also complete a thermal imaging scan free of charge with each inspection.
With a 10 year prior background in investment property management, renovation, and construction, Tom attended and graduated from the Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology Home Inspection Certification Program in 2007.
After incorporation of Safe and Sound Residential Inspection Limited in 2008, he completed the requirements of and earned the designation Registered Home Inspector (RHI) with the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors.
Going forward Tom has continued to build upon his experience and professional reputation based on the core values of hard work, further education, and dedication. To foster the growth and expansion of Safe and Sound Tom completed and graduated from both the CDW Engineering Commercial Building Inspection program, and the Real Estate Institute of Canada’s Reserve Planning and Management Program.
He now holds the designation Certified Reserve Planner (CRP), in addition to other qualifications. Tom has also completed the training and requirements to become a Certified Level 1 thermographer, and a Natural Resources Canada Certified Energy Advisor.
